![]() Lashannon Page, Vice PresidentLaShannon is a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist at Pfizer's Rocky Mount site, where she leverages her Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management/Leadership and her Master's in Industrial Pharmacy to drive transformative projects. She also serves as the Vice President of Empowering Her Destiny, where she is passionate about uplifting and empowering others. |

![]() Ka'Rin Peoples, Director of ProgramsKa’Rin Peoples is a dynamic leader, coach and mentor. Gaining an M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore, Ka’Rin is grounded in trauma-informed care and what it means to be culturally competent. Throughout her career, Ka’Rin has witnessed the barriers faced by black girls that continue to plague our schools and later workplaces. Those experiences ignite her passion for diversity and inclusion. Ka'Rin believes when you pour love into Black girls, it changes their trajectory. |

Misha's commitment to this mission reflects her deep belief in the transformative power of nurturing young minds. |

![]() Destiny Akpaidem, Youth AmbassadorDestiny is a 12-year-old seventh grader with a bright future ahead. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, which brings her joy and allows for creative expression, and experimenting with new recipes she finds on Pinterest. Cooking provides her with the opportunity to explore and savor new flavors. Destiny dreams of becoming a preschool teacher to nurture and inspire young children while also pursuing a career as a dancer. |

![]() Anissia Farrior, Youth AmbassadorAnnesia Farrior is a dynamic sophomore with a passion for reading, dancing, and family time. An active member of Greater St. Paul UHC, she serves on the praise and worship team and choir. Annesia is involved in several clubs and organizations, including the Sigma Gamma Rhoer Club, Empowering Her Destiny, Education Without Walls, and she serves as a regional representative for SAYSO. She is a two-time official short story writer and a former Governor's Page for 2023. |
