School Day and Afterschool Programs

Empowering Her Destiny serves schools through our school day program, Girls Code, and our afterschool program, PowHERFUL Ambassadors Program. Both programs aim to increase community, conflict resolution, and self-confidence in girls.

Girls Code

The Girl Code School Day Program is weekly discussions with young girls about topics regarding girlhood. These topics include conflict resolution, friendships, bullying, body image, coping strategies, mindfulness, and student-directed conversations. The goal of these discussions is to increase self-awareness, develop coping skills, and ultimately increase self-esteem.

Powherful Ambassadors Program

The PowHERful Ambassador Program develops community, communication, and confidence in young girls through teaching them to use their V.O.I.C.E. as a tool to heal themselves and others.
